What better way for young adventurers to spend a fun and an authentic immersive day than exploring the magic of the Naxian countryside!

Our fresh morning start begins with a drive to the island’s largest expanse of olive groves. In this serene and peaceful setting, home to farm animals, we visit a private donkey farm surrounded by 800-year-old olive trees!! Family opportunity to meet and interact with the most famous Greek equine: the donkey, and other farm animals such as ducks, geese, chickens, bunnies, goats and others. After meeting, petting, feeding the animals it’s time for a fun activity: we invite young and old kids to a game of archery, like Artemis- the ancient goddess of nature.

We continue our exciting morning with a nature walk through the olive grove to reach the most picturesque village of the island, Chalki. Visit a local bee keeper for honey tasting and enjoy lunch at a traditional restaurant where our local escort will explain all about the local dishes and the famous local custard pastry (“galaktoboureko”). Finally, there is an extra treat for parents; a visit to the old distillery, founded more than 100 years ago, for a taste of the local “citron” digestive liqueur. Drive back to the hotel with treasured memories of an authentic island day to remember.

• Cancellations received within less than 24 hours before departure and no shows are non-refundable. Cancellations received up to 48 hours prior to tour departure are subject to 50% cancellation fee. Full refund is provided to cancellations received earlier than 48 hours before the delivery of our services. Cancellation notice must be submitted in writing.
