From the historical port to the crowning castle, the Venetian Old Town with its quaint alleyways -where the food market is awake- passing by a traditional wood-fire bakery, colorful fruit stands and stalls with aromatic herbs and spices, we invite travelers to enjoy sampling of local delicacies including a delicious orange cake, variety of fine, local Naxian cheeses with a glass of wine and traditional bakery snacks. The food tour is filled with the promise of more traditional mezes and local delights all along the way concluding with a rich family style meal including salad, local recipes with famous naxian potatoes and more. Guests learn about the richness of the Naxian land and its products, the people and their local cuisine.

Cancellations received within less than 24 hours before departure and no shows are non-refundable. Cancellations received up to 48 hours prior to tour departure are subject to 50% cancellation fee. Full refund is provided to cancellations received earlier than 48 hours before the delivery of our services. Cancellation notice must be submitted in writing.

This was an excellent way to sample some Greek food as well as learn a lot about Naxos. It also allowed a nice tour through both the new and old part of the town. Our guide, Natasha was amazing! So knowledgeable and super engaging and friendly! She took the time to get to know us and this allowed for great conversation over great food! Highly recommend this tour!!

This tour was magical! Our guide, Elizabeth, was knowledgeable, kind, and charismatic. We thoroughly enjoyed all the local wines, cheeses, and drinks. We were guided through the castle area and our guide shared many historic insights. We had a wonderful dinner sampling all the local delicacies!! I highly recommend this tour if you’re in Naxos!

Highly recommend this tour. My husband and I were in Naxos on our honeymoon and it was the perfect tour to get to know the history, food and town of Naxos. Our guide (forgive me, I cannot remember her name) was amazing! She was very nice and knowledgeable about the island. The food was nothing short of amazing. Everything was so delicious.

Natasha really made our tour special. She was well organized, kept the pace flowing throughout the tour and she was super knowledgeable and was able to answer our many questions. There were so many stops with rich history and delicious treats to try. Our supper stop was amazing and the food was plentiful. The wine and raki were delightful and we really enjoyed all of the stops we went on especially the cheese shop. This tour is well worth the money as you are so full when you are done and you learn so much about Naxos along the way. If you are looking for a walking food and wine tour, choose this one - you won't regret it!!

There's little point in going to a beautiful place if you don't know where to look once you've gotten there! You need a guide who is passionate about what you are looking at! This is the best food tasting tour we have ever taken. Our guide, a passionate young teacher, led us through beautiful little streets and introduced us to traditional Naxian food, each dish accompanied by captivating tales and fascinating stories. The various dishes were delicious, colorful, and plentiful. We are even considering taking the tour with her again 🙂

Wow, this is the only word I have in mind when thinking of this tour! Our guide was an absolute gem and amazing, caring for each individual throughout the tour and making sure everyone is well included. Was very knowledgeable about the town of Naxos and had excellent transition cues to each tasting, was like listening to a story all along! Brought us to important tasting spots in Naxos with a nice variety of traditional foods and local drinks (yamas!). Group discussions were very pleasant and enjoyed the company of great people! I can confidently say this was one of the highlights of my entire trip and will definitely keep this as a golden memory. Thank you so much to our guide! You have to book this tour!!
