We had the most magical tour with our guide Maria who was exceptionally knowledgeable about Naxos and the Greek myths. She perfectly weaved the stories of gods and heroes in with the history of the ancient sites to bring it all to life in a spellbinding way. Maria's respect and love for people, nature, the island and its history shone through and she was a genuine delight to spend our morning with. Thank you Maria!!

I would highly recommend this tour to anyone coming to Naxos. Elizabeth, our guide, was seriously the best tour guide we have ever had. Her local knowledge, and her historical knowledge was amazing. The food experience was delicious and the whole experience was authentic. We think it will be the highlight of our trip.

This is how you become a traveler, not a tourist. You leave ceiling like you’re leaving family. Vegan friendly, just ask!I chose this tour after communicating with the owner. Her attention to detail, ensuring we had vegan options at each location was amazing. If you are looking for something to connect you with the culture of the island, this is what you want. You won’t see large bus tours, and you won’t deal with large group of people. You will connect one on one with each owner of the locations that you visit. You can’t help but leave, wanting to help them. The food is amazing. We really enjoyed the walk to each location and seeing where everything we ate was grown and cultivated.

There were ten of us on Katja’s tour. Mom had been to Greece several times, and wanted to share that passion with her family of three grown children and their partners, and three grandchildren in their mid-twenties. We fell in love with Katja immediately, every one of us, for a variety of reasons; She’s so very personable and intelligent, and deeply experienced in the tourism trade. With her rich knowledge of all things Greek, Katja would often stand in for the local tour guides at various locales, and it was clear that we got the better deal every single time. Seeing Greece through Katja’s eyes - the “secret gems” in various locales, the local culinary tips, the geo-political history, the grace with which she responded to personal needs or transportation adjustments…is there an aspect of Greece that she can’t address? We had the experience of a lifetime seeing Greece through Katja’s eyes. She is a true ambassador and a warm host for her country.

This year, we brought a group of 16 people to Naxos for a yoga and Pilates adventure. Whilst booking some excursions for our group, I was recommended Naxos Cultural Tours. I was not disappointed. Excellent communication and a very friendly and helpful service. The guide was just lovely and very knowledgeable. We are already bringing another group in 2024 and Katia has been wonderful in putting together a customised tour for our group. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I have to shout out our guide first and foremost… Labrina was amazing!!! She paced our walking tour perfectly, stopping at tiny details of the city that we had passed at least 5 times that day and never knew the importance or significance… loved her personal touch and her love of the mythology and history of Greece!!!

Best Food & Wine Tour we have been on! Natasha really made our tour special. She was well organized, kept the pace flowing throughout the tour and she was super knowledgeable and was able to answer our many questions. There were so many stops with rich history and delicious treats to try. Our supper stop was amazing and the food was plentiful. The wine and raki were delightful and we really enjoyed all of the stops we went on especially the cheese shop. This tour is well worth the money as you are so full when you are done and you learn so much about Naxos along the way. If you are looking for a walking food and wine tour, choose this one - you won't regret it!!

The REAL DEAL Naxos Experience! There's little point in going to a beautiful place if you don't know where to look once you've gotten there! You need a guide who is passionate about what you are looking at! Elizabeth is that passion. She genuinely loves Naxos and knows its rich history and traditional culture. The tour is fantastic! This is the best food tasting tour we have ever taken. Our guide, a passionate young teacher, led us through beautiful little streets and introduced us to traditional Naxian food, each dish accompanied by captivating tales and fascinating stories. The various dishes were delicious, colorful, and plentiful. We are even considering taking the tour with her again Highly recommended!

Our guide Labrina was wonderful! She did an amazing job explaining the fascinating mythology of Naxos while weaving in historical information and information about wine. I don’t know if our trip to Naxos would have been as incredible as it was without her! We were able to see parts of Naxos that we didn’t know about as first time travelers to the island. We were so inspired by our tour, we visited a number of places again the next day. The wine tasting was a highlight as well. Highly recommend!!

We had a fantastic experience on this tour and would recommend it to anyone interested in mythology. Our tour guide, Labrina, was absolutely amazing. She was knowledgeable and funny, and you could tell that she really loved the subject matter. She did a fantastic job of telling the myths and really connecting the stories back to the island of Naxos. We had no idea how connected the island was to Greek mythology, and her blend of storytelling, history, and humor made for a very fun tour. The pace of the tour was very comfortable - she kept us in the shade when possible, and we had several breaks (two of which included refreshments). The climb to the Gate of Apollo was pleasant, and watching the sunset from that vantage point is not to be missed. Finally, Labrina gave several excellent recommendations for restaurants when the tour was over, and she even walked several of us to a hard-to-find restaurant in the Old Town after the tour was over!
